Horizontal Line

The HTML <hr> element is for creating a “thematic break” between paragraph-level elements. In markdown, you can create a <hr> with any of the following:

  • ___: three consecutive underscores
  • ---: three consecutive dashes
  • ***: three consecutive asterisks
