RUMlogNG

This video includes a little bit of the software setup on the Icom 7300, yours may vary. You can download RUMLogNG from the authors site: http://www.dl2rum.d. If I quit RumLogNG, then restart WSJTX, it will operate again normally. I’ve investigated the WSJT-X Manual (specifically, WSJT-X & RumLogNG section), QRZ.com forums and done a Google/Bing search looking for settings which may correct this situation. I’ve not found anything which could correct the situation.

RUMlogNG

RUMlogNG is designed to help radio amateurs log the activity on various short wave frequencies and practice their skills. The application packs a broad range of tools andf capabilities, so checking the extensive online documentation is advisable.

Load data from online resources and open classic RUMlog files

Via the RUMlogNG Online menu, you get to load LoTW and eQSL users, DXCC and SCP data, the contest cheat database, or K7PT, DX Spot, and DXCC databases.

At the same time, via the RUMlogNG Logbook menu, you get to either import data from a classic RUMlog file or load content from ADIF or contest files. The same area allows you to upload your current log together with the new QSOs to the Clublog.

However, if you don’t want to import the data, you can create a new log file and make the necessary configurations, such as providing your callsign, selecting the satellite you need to use, or the mode or band you wish to log.

RUMlogNG includes all the tools needed by a DXer to handle as many logs as it likes, regardless of how many QSOs are included. The utility can help you query online libraries, such as qrz.com and HamQTH.com, and also comes with a QSL database.

The utility can also alert the user about new DXCC and IOTA spots and provides access to extensive statistical data for each detected DXCC. Worth mentioning is that you can use RUMlogNG to scan the entire world for interesting radio amateur spots.
